The “Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell” project group has been established as a new collaborative research hub of Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory. The project group mainly focuses on new fuel cell catalysts, fuel cell’s membrane electrode assembly, fuel cell stack, new concept fuel cells, methanol reforming hydrogen production, hydrogen purification technology, green electrochemical hydrogen production, and gas diffusion layer carbon paper. The mission is to build an industrial hydrogen energy and fuel cell R & D platform with international ambitions.
Gathering the advantages of disciplines and industrial operations, we have conducted joint research on key technologies such as membrane electrode pareparation, bipolar plate coating and ion exchange membrane preparation that restrict the development of hydrogen fuel
